modays, reading all the letters from home. just takes me back. haha. 13 more months to go!!!! haha

 

news for the week..... I AM GOING TO TEACH PIANO LESSONS!!!! the bishop asked me if i could start teaching piano lessons, apparently their is alot of people that want to learn. So in this process, I am going to learn how to play too!

 

Investigators.....Carlos and silvia are still there, carlos told us he wants to be baptised. They still have the baptism date for the 7th of april. we have a new girl that we are teaching. Myra. She said she has wanted to be baptised for a long time and just wants to do it. So hopefully we can baptise her in the next couple of weeks. We have seen alot of little miracles here in senillosa. A lady just walked up to us on the street and asked if we could give her son a blessing. cute little baby. we said yes. we passed by and she wasnt home. then she showed up to church, we gave the blessing. and now she wants to take the lessons from us.

 

With the comp. it just keeps going down hill. We did divisions this week, I went with Elder Thoelke. I just vented to him about the stuff that my companion does. Idk. The mission is super ruff. He is bringing me down with him. My animo (excitement) to work isnt the same. so when we have interviews this week. tomarrow. I am going to talk to elder thoelke again. Its definatly not easy, the mission. My compaion is a studd. I could be best friends with him outside of the mission. But on the mission, he lost his view as a missionary, and that doesnt fly with me. So if you guys as a family could pray for me and my compaion this week, that something, something, will change. Cause i cant keep going like this. i gotta get back and focused, cause i know why i am here in senillosa, and my comapion is keeping me from doing my job.

 

So thats the mish. haha. Love it, cherish it, remember it. My trainer goes home this week. Crazy guy. He called me the other day and it made my week. So yeah. Love you guys. Stay safe. Send more pictures.

FAMILY!

Alfredo's baptism was PERFECT!!! He is such a studd. We ended up baptizing him on sunday. So now i have my two baptisms on special days. Emily's birthday and kaylas birthday. My companion and i gave the two talks on baptism and the holy ghost. Then i played a musical number and EVERYONE was crying. The spirit was super strong. Things this week were better. We put two more baptismal dates. With Carlos, and Sylvia. Elder Castes is doing a lot better. We did divisions this week. I went to Plottier. With Elder Frost. He is from Georgia. We do do alot of English classes. Turns out this guy i was helping with his english (Cristian) He didnt pass his test to move up in high school so he has to do it again. That means i have to help him with EVERYTHING over again. But we hope to baptize him soon. He is Testigo de Jeovah (jahovas wittness) but we want to start teaching him the discussions. Today we went to Neuquen and went bowling and did bumper cars and i destroyed my companion. haha he is hurtin now. NOthing huge happened this week. I am still getting eatin alive by mosquitos. its ridiculous.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA ON THE 18TH!!!!!! LOVE YA SISTER!!!! 

 

OH just another week here in pleasant Senillosa. Our week was bastante (fairly) good. We did go out and teach. Miracle in itself. haha. but in result to this teaching. WE HAVE A BAPTISM ON THE 18th. THIS WEEK!!! Alfredo. An old fella. But a good guy. He plays guitar. Folklor music. Its like old cowboy music here. We played basketball for the second time here with some kids. We get alot of attention playing with them. They started asking about the church. This one kid, Savier (kinda like javier but with a s) he is a STUDD! he dunks it on me all the time. He plays for a club here in argentina and wants to play in the states. I knew i need to share the gospel with him. He is 19 and a really good kid. We are going to start teaching him soon. Also this week, i helped a guy with his english for school. He is 40 and never finished high school lhere. so i am helping him. Oh it was a nightmare. hahaha. It was sooooo hard haha. He cannot talk in english if his life depended on it. Yeah, given, he is 40 but come on guy, give the green-go a break. I about lost it. haha. The dude cant even say the word "table" right. hahaha we were with him 2 days. with a total of 9 hours of english.  crazy.

 

Things with the comp.......yeah he likes to sleep alot. I just do my thing. Read my scriptures, something productive. He has been out for a year and a half.  He is super trunky. I think thats why he is lazy. But we were thinking, with the routine of areas that he has had, that he is going to leave this transfer. We hope. Nah, he is a good guy, super funny, super funny. I could be best friends with the kid outside of the mission, but here, its a different ball game. Its something serious. and he just doesnt have the ganas (desires) to do it. but oh well.

 

I was talking with my trainer, He has 3 WEEKS LEFT OF HIS MISSION!!!! But the kid is a stud. He is in my situation with his comp also, so we have been emailing back and forth to talk about our problems. But he is such a stud. I am going to miss him.

 

So ya. Thats the mission. Not much happenin here. Love ya kids :)

FAMILIA!!!

 

Como estan??? Otra semana aqui en senillosa argetina jaja. Hey first things first. haha. Mom can you get onto my facebook to add a girl named Rocio Lepen as my friend, she sent a friend request last night. its my neighbor member friend and their are pictures of me and my comapnion on her page. But this email for this week is going to be short cause almost nothing happened. monday last week was a disaster, it was feriado here. which is like a holiday so nothing was open. and the grocery stores here are sssuuupppeerrr small. and their wasnt hardly any food to buy. but we bought what we could and survived. then we went to the river.. tuesday was district meeting. elder draut broke his leg so we had district meeting in their pencion. thursday we had interviews with president in neuquen. then on sunday was stake conference. elder Aidukaties from the 70 was there. their was a ton of people in stake conference. as a ward we traveled in a van to neuquen haha. it was fun. i sat next to hmno lopez, he just recieved the melchezidek priesthood. He is a studd. but it was a week of nothing. I am trying to kick my companion into shape. he is a good guy and is a studd teaching but he is just super lazy and wants to sleep all the time. and you guys know me. i am very pacient with people and dont like to get mad so i just deal with it but i plan on this week being alot better. things are good here. I have been reading ALOT of church doctrine and my scriptures when my companion is sleeping and i have learned a ton and am excited to work hard this next week and see miracles. I have faith and i know the savior will help me out. Tell grandma and grandpa ross i love them, and tell all the family i love them. its not easy being so far away from your family but if they know i love them, its alot easier. My trainer goes home in april, he is super excited ahaha. but thats all i have this week. love yall.
