Hey family!
My birthday haha....the elders made me a cake at
district meeting, then we did divisions and Hmna Deliah gave me some
chocolates. And today she is doing an "asado" which is like an argentine
bbq but its like with lamb and chicken and churizo which is like
sausages kinda. its super amazing and good!!!!! you´ll have to ask uncle
micheal to explain it.
Things with carlos are good. We couldnt meet with him this last week. He
was in Neuquen almost the whole week. So we hope to meet with him
today.
Kayla emailed me and told me about graduation. haha. its so
weird to think that she is done with school. Did you cry mom? she is
your baby after all.
so my week haha. I will send some pictures. But on monday we ate
with the elders from plottier with hmna deliah. then on tuesday we had
the district meeting and then we did divisions. elder Naylor came with
me. We did divisions for 2 days cause it just worked out better. but we
worked hard but didnt see alot of results. passed by alot of peoples
houses but didnt see alot of success. Talked to Silvia again. She is
doing better. Ready for baptism but she just misses going to church
cause she works. Then on thursday we ate with some members in Plottier,
they were super cool. Then on friday we went to an activity in plottier
for 25 de mayo which is independence day here. It was super cool to
visit with the members. We were going to sing but they forgot to give us
time to do it. then saturday was normal. Sunday was normal too. It was
nice to do divisions with elder naylor and talk with him about stuff.
Got alot of stress off my shoulders. and we had a super good time. He is
from kansas and he was the trainer of elder Davis. an elder from my
group in the MTC. Super fun divisons. So yeah. we just make it happen
here. Last week i didnt get the package you sent. maybe this week. The
stuff in the office are a little crazy. Hope you kids are doing well.
Good to hear from ya. Love ya, thanks for everything.

lived 20 years. seen alot in my day. haha jk.
no package as of today. We recieve mail/packages on tuesdays in the district meeting.
my rash is still there haha. I need to buy that cream this week. I have just been lazy.
the weather is cold! not vernal cold but its like the beginning of
vernal cold so not too bad but still. its been almost a year since i
have been in the cold so its a bit frisk. when we go to this hermanas
house, she always tells us to "bundle up".
Someone struggling with a few classes? that doesnt sound
familiar.......haha jk. Yeah. its just what happens when your a kid. you
just want to finish school and nothing more. I understand what she is
going through.....but....she needs to do better. =) Looking for a new
job is she? Look at the little girl go. Good job sis. Working at the rec
would be SICK! cause then i could go lifting when i get home for
like....free! (just fyi i am going to go lifting the day after i get
home and i am going to be in the gym for like 8 hours.) hope she finds a
good job. Who in the world is "he is we"? that doesnt even sound like a
cool band name. haha jk. I remember when me and jordan and hayden went
to the jacks manequin concert hahah. good times.
tell nate that he still hasnt sent pics of this famous HANNAH!!!!
listen, she doesnt even have my aproval yet, and wont until i get a nice
little picture from him.
I thought about garrett and katie on sunday and thought "hey, my
cousin got married yesterday" haha but good for them. it will be fun to
meet her when i get home.
Oh mom and dad. you two are just always on the go. working,
callings, working, callings. I have talked with alot of people about dad
on the mission and how i dont know how he does it with his work
schedule, calling, and taking care of his parents but i want to be just
like my dad some day =) He sure is a good guy. Thanks for all your
support.
This week for me, was normal. On tuesday an old investigator called
us and wanted to visit with us.That in itself was a miracle. his name
is Carlos. He is a big tall guy. and when we met with him i asked him
"carlos, you know this stuff is true right?" he said "yeah" then i said
"what keeps ya from being baptised then?" he said "you two taking me
down to the church and putting me under" so we left him the challenge of
him putting a date to be baptised and we are going to do it. he is a
great guy. we are suuuuuuuper good friends with him. Talking to him is
like talking to a friend. Natural. He loves us. And i found out that in
all of these "trials" as i call them haha that i am going through with
my comp, there are people who are ready for us to baptise them, we just
have to do it. I really love my mission. Teaching and the people make me
so happy. Just keeping a positive attitude makes all the difference.
Thanks for everything kids. Love you all!!!!

Howdy
hey folks!!!!!
WHAT IT IS!!!! 1 MORE WEEK UNTIL THE END OF THE TRANSFER.
Yes i feel better. i am still kinda sick but not as bad. The comp things....not better but not worse. I had an interview with the district leader and we decided i will just wait til the end of the transfer. just be patient. one week is all. Thank you so much for your prayers, i am serious. i dont know how i do it. but i know your prayers are the angels that are holding me up and keeping me with a positive attitude. the lord works miracles. The fact that i havent given up on it all is a miracle. I can feel your prayers everyday. There isnt one prayer that is wasted. I use them all.
So with the going home early cause of my day that i go home thing. I was thinking that i should stay out the 3 extra weeks. Now, that doesnt mean that that could change. But i am thinging i am going to stay the extra and come home in august. But we will see when i get there.
Me and my comp had a good talk yesterday, he cried. He was just talking about his desires to be better, he has no help from home, his family is a disaster, they hardly email him, if they do its to email something negative. I felt super bad for him. I felt bad that i wasnt as strong as i should have been with him to help him be obedient. Im not saying its my fault but i kinda felt bad. But i saw in his eyes the desires he has to be better and i know he can do it. i have faith in him. i love my companion. he really is a good guy. I hope if he gets tranfered to a new area that he can just hit the road running.
This week we did not a whole lot. But we did do divisions, that helped with a little bit of stress. Sunday was an amazing sacrament meeting, we had 3 less active youth show up and give there testimonies. they thanked us as missionaries for helping them come back to church, really strong spirit. Then the bishop gets up and says that the problems of the members that he has to deal with is a burden. haha thats not how it works bishop. Thats your calling is to help the members. So the bishop is a disaster. the church is so different here in south argentina. Everywhere else, buenos aires and in the north its good. but here in the south,.....wow.....the church is sooooo different. ITs a bad different. but thats why we are here, to change that. haha but it was an ok week. Thanks for everything family love you guys.
