Hey Fam!

HEY FAM!

Glad you liked my letter mom. I was only speaking the truth and its weird to think that i am your "little boy" when i am 20 years old. haha. 20....woah. So mom. next time you send a package, i need two things. You know those stickers that you can put in your scriptures over the versus that has a picture of what its talking about? i would like those. the other would be insoles. i think i have them in my dresser in my room. the ones you bought me like a way long time ago and i never used.......hahah. yeah it would help if you could send it in the next package. no rush.
Got dads birthday card. hahahaha i look like a little kid haha. thanks pops. i do get all of his cards that he sends they just get here late cause its a long way to mail stuff.
Got a package from work!!! woo rah!!!
So highlights of my week.....on wednesday Hnma deliah sewed my pants haha they came undone at the bottom (down by my foot) so she fixed them for me. Then on saturday it SNOWED!!!!! well....let me explain....haha. it was like a super lite snow and it didnt even stick. But all the elders were freakin out haha they said it was snowing like it does in utah. and i told them....."no, when it snows, the snow sticks and there is alot of it ". if was the first time they had seen snow for a few of them. So yeah....thats whats going down.

hey mom when did uncle michael serve in Buenos Aires?
THe people here try to talk in english here. There is a memeber in the other elders ward that met a greengo on the mish and she is going to get married in august in the logan temple up in utah and she is going to live in provo. so yeah. but the people here always say "hello" to us. but we only say hello when we pick up the phone. so we stop them and correct them and say "in the states, we say Hi. when you are talking to people. hello is for the phone" I have spoke with quite a few people that can actually speak english almost fluently. Thats super fun cause the only people who know what we are saying is me and the other person. my comp cant understand anything. so yeah. thats whats up. Thanks for the sweet email fam. Love yall

Good Monday...AKA P-day

Family!!!!

Como andan!!!!! Todo bien aca. Haciendo lo justo. jaja. (they write haha like jaja here cause its spanish for haha)
The package was amazing. I ate all the food super fast. The cake turned out BOMB!!!! When i ate the batter i felt like i was at home cause i havent tasted that in like 1 year. haha. It brought me back to the old days haha. My health problems are going away haha. My headaches i dont get as often and my rash is fading away. I hav this stuff i have to shower with and i have to use it for 2 weeks and i just finished week one on friday so everything should come back to normal. Its crazy to thing of the time i have left on the mission. All the people were right when they said...."it goes by fast" i guess i was never one to believe that til it happened to me. But the thing i love is that it is passing with the people i love here in argentina. Maybe my comp is lazy, but i wont get to spend another 3 transfers with anyone like him haha. Jordan Evans comes home on the 28th i think. The end of this month. If you see him tell him i love him and that he needs to write me.

I cant believe that Philip Nathan Ross is finally out of his shell. Its a miracle. Someone might just have a girlfriend when i get home! THERE IS HOPE!!!! hahahahaha. Its good to hear about the family. I was always a mommas boy when i was little (i still am) and i would always get home sick when i was little. UP until my mission even. But since the MTC i havent been homesick. I can talk about my family all day and i know that they are safe and doing good so there is no reason to be homesick. haha. Glad you kids have summer. Here its super cold. super cold. Its crazy. June and its cold? yeah thats never happened in my life. haha. who woulda thunk!  but its the way the cookie crumbles and ya just deal with it.

My week wasnt very successfull, we didnt do alot. But we did do divisions and we actually taught people. I had a blast! I felt soooo good. I actually got to teach people and the lessons were PERFECT!!!! I love teaching. I love it so much!!!!! These people need it so bad and i am so willing to teach them cause i know they need it. SOmething i learned this week was in the confernce talks i read. Talks from way back when (2009) and i just got the confermation of the spirit that they were written for me. FOR ME!!! I thought "no way, in 2009 i was sitting on the couch during confernece thinking.....ok...two more talks then i can eat!!!" then later in my mission i just found out that even thought i wasnt listening, they were written for me.
The other thing was the opportunity to think of the two amazing/out of this world amazing parents that i have. I just think back and reflect on your examples to me of living the gospel. I remeber mom always said "i hope i bare my testimony through my actions." Mom, you did an amazing job! And to think of how amazing Dad was in the church, always happy. I couldnt ask for a better set of parents. I hope i can be half the dad that my Dad is. And i hope that me and my future wife can be half the parents you guys are. You did a perfect job. Thanks for everything. Love you guys!!!!

News this week

Hey fam,

Hermosa Senillosa. (that rhymes in spanish) Things are good here. This week we got a few things done. Met with few people and what not. I will send pics.

My new president is going to come in the end of june. so the end of this month. On the 6th i am going to complete 11 months on the mission. 13 more and i will be in the house. hahaha suckers haha. I have been doing pretty good. The stress kinda gets me some headaches but nothin out of the norm. YES i did get my package! thanks so much!!!!! I gave one of my fastbreaks to my comp and the rest is for me ahhaha :) I am wearing the shirt you sent right now. haha. Thanks for the vernal expresses, that was a SWEET suprise :) got to see my cousin in the paper. and some friends and what not. Got grandmas letter too.

So this week. We met with carlos. Well we went to the Dam like 50 minutes away from here. We might move in next door to hmna deliah. The super cool hermana in our ward. our contract for our pench in going to expire here soon.

My letter is kinda short this weeek too but i wanted to share a experience that i had this week. Two kinda. The first is the importance of conference talks and the words of a living prophet. So in my patriarchal blessing it talks about the importance of the scriptures and the words of the living prophets. So as i have been here in my time in senillosa and the time that i have to study, i have found comfort in many confernece talks in response to the stressful time that i have had here. I know they make their talks for someone. As i was reading two talks on Patience. The spirit testified so strong to me the words of these talks and how i could apply them in my life. It litterally was an answer to my prayers.

The second was the importance of following the impressions of the spirit. As we drove in the car of Carlos to the Dam on tuesday, I felt the strong impression to talk to carlos about the baptism date we were going to talk about. I didnt follow it. Then on the way home, it hit me again. My comp was talking alot about other things and i never talked to him about it. I felt super bad after, knowing that i had not followed what the spirit told me. This has happened many times on my mission and it is something that i will never let happen again. We need to follow those impressions. The spirit doesnt talk with a loud voice, so when we think we heard it, act on it. ASAP. Thanks for all your support family. Love you all
