The great big Family!!!!!
How are we? First things first. I know
nothing about calling on mothers day. I dont know if we are gonig to
call on sunday or monday. But here is the thing. I will be in touch. So
check your email everyday mom. EVERYDAY!
My week? Mas o menos. It wasnt that great. Had a few highlights in
the week but thats about it. So monday we went to plottier to hike a
huge hill. It was super sweet and I got the classic missionary on a hill
with the book of mormon picture. Then we went to Grido (ice cream shop)
and i ate 1 kilo of icecream. (2 lbs) Then on tuesday we had to
practice for our musical number for zone conference. We had of course my
version of "there is a green hill far away" and "army of heleman" and
the other elders sang to my playing. Then wednesday was zone conference.
Hmna Peterson LOVED our musical number when we were practicing so she
recorded it on her camera. Then zone confernece was BOMB!! learned a ton
and felt the spirit. Then we did our musical number and ROCKED IT!!!!
Just blew people out of there white shirts and ties. Then on friday when
we played soccer some kids got in a fight. We probably cant play
anymore. Then sunday we had church then our charlas with the youth at 5
as usual. But with all those highlights the rest was filled with a comp
that didnt want to do anything. But we make the best of it and smile.
Yes i am getting dads letters. Sorry i am not responding back to
them in my email. I did get dads package of the card and cookies!!!!!!
:) :):) :)Thanks pops!!!! Love ya!!!! Yes i did get my money. I didnt
take all of it out at once so i still have money on my card. Keep it
there please. I am still looking for some new shoes. I dont have
anything specific that i want for my birthday. Im happy with whatever.
you know that. Its hard to believe that i will be 20. Im getting
old.........hahaha jk.
So check this family.....monday we ate with all the elders at a
members house. We were all talking, having a good time and the hmna asks
me "elder, where are you from" I said Utah,........she didnt believe
me. "you dont talk like a greengo" and then i said, "thats cause i am
from buenos aires" she says, "thats what i figured, you talk way to much
like an argintine, you speak fluent" then i thought....."thats a good
sign" so there you have it. Your son is a argentine!!!! Love ya kids!!!

Wonderful news last week
Hey fam. how are we?
Another week here in hermosa senillosa.
Things this week werent bad but i dont think they were that much better
but i am still happy haha. :) So yes i sent off the letter to ethan. He
should get it here in the next week or so.
So this week....on tuesday we went on
divisions. With Elder Naylor in Plottier. He is my "uncle" on the mish.
If you dont understand, ask nate and he can explain to you. It was super
sweet. We walked a ton but didnt have alot of success. We taught
english classes at a library with like 20 kids. It was super fun. Then
on wednesday we played piano at the church and rocked it up waiting for
our compaions to return. Then on saturday we met with a little family
that is investigating the church. and we put a fecha with them.
Veronica, Luis and Pablo. Then a evangelical priest was in town doing a
big reuinion and i wanted to go to find some people to teach but my
companion wussed out. He is a big deal here in argentina. Then on sunday
was sick. let me tell ya what happened sunday. totally changed my
perspective on the plan of salvation. We are teaching the youth in our
ward the missionary lessons. Lesson 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Yesterday was lesson
2. It was incredible. I had never understood the plan of salvation so
well. The spirit was litterally talking to me. I think i learned more
than the youth did. The spirit was super strong. Then we split up and
the youth had to teach us. I was with two young women. They kicked
trash. I felt like an investigator. I was super impressed. Then they
talked about their desires to share this with their friends. It was
incredible. Then I met with the ward mission leader for a few minutes.
He dropped cane on somethings that we need to do better and i accepted
humbly and knew we neeeded to change. He told me "elder, i know you have
an incredible future, you have desires to work and keep the
rules......just do it. I can see it in you. you want to work. I know
your companion is lazy but you gotta set the example" I was super
suprised that someone...finally had seen my desires to work in this area
and that my comp is lazy. but i felt the spirit super strong. He almost
cried. It was amazing.
so that was our week. Better in some parts haha. But we keep going with a smile :) Keep strong family!!!!

Any Changes?
FAMILIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure do love you guys!!!!! Things are super good here. :) As for this moment. I will explain the miracle story later. I have no idea what i want for my 20TH BIRTHDAY!!!!! YEAH BABY!!! 20 and lovin it!!!! I am happy with whatever you send. I have no idea if we can skype for mothers day. i will ask. but i think i will be calling cause my comp is going to call AND in this small town idk if they have skype. but i will let you know all the information when the time is close. Wow everyone is growing up. its super cool to think that and then when i come home. I will be bigger too. Everyone says i am alot taller than when i came.(to senillosa) that means i am growing here in senillosa. Im thinkin... 6 foot 5 and 230 pounds of pure muscle when you will see me in the airport. haha jk.
So about my life this week.....This week until saturday nigh was just like anyother day the weeks past. Just nothin. We did nothing, Nothing happened, Nothing changed. So Saturday night was a miracle. What i hope to be the answers to not only my many prayers but the prayers of my friends and family for me that we have been praying for for 1 1/2 tranfers of my mission. My companion told me "lets fight with obedience" i was thinkin "oh right, here we go again, half a day of obedience and we are going to return back to normal" we did nightly planning (for the first time in 4 weeks) and we started with a hymn. The hymn humbled me quite a bit. Then my companion said the prayer. humbled me more, started to feel the spirit a bit. Then we started planning, I felt the spirit super strong and a thought popped into my head "this is what you have been praying for, the change you wanted" I cant even explain in words how amazing our sunday was. My companion has changed. (for right now at least) its a miracle. On sunday i gave a suprise talk in sacrament meeting and the spirit was super strong, we taught lesson 1 with the youth and had a cool spiritual activity with them. The spirit was super strong. then we planned that night and the spirit was super strong.
I was listening to Jon Scmidt (my favorite) the other day and thinking. In my mission, I have been to what seems like hell and back with some of the things i have been through and the things I have felt. The mission isnt easy. But may i tell you, that this is the happiest i have been in my life. The lord knows me. He knew that my mission wasnt going to be easy. Its not a states mission, or a English speaking mission. We dont have cars or bikes. Our president of the mission told us "Elders, This is one of the hardest missions in the WORLD" one of the least baptising missions in south america (south america you would think has the most baptisms cause its south america) But the Lord knows me. and what i can handle. I heard a quote once, "The lord sends the strongest missionaries, to the hardest missions, with the hardest compainons" I have a testimony that the Lord loves me. I love this people. I love my mission. Though it may not be easy. I love it and I will be happy!!!! ;)
Stay strong and Share the Gospel!!! Love you guys!!!

Happy Easter!!
Hey folks,
How are we? good? I talked to president on the phone yesterday and he asked me how things were and i said they were getting better. Very very very very very slowly. Familia Lepen told us to not come back to there house. That was a kick in the face. but idk. i guess this week we will see what happens. I am almost 100% positive that presidnet isnt going to change my companion so i just have to deal with it.

Hey You?
Hey Family!
Oh my week. It was ok. The situation hasnt gotten better, if anything, worse. We were walking last night looking for someone to visit and i told him, "hey, looks like we need to start knocking doors" and he said "your on your own" so I emailed President and told him everything. I feel like i sound like a baby. complaining all the time. idk. we will see what happens.
Conference was BOMB!!!!!! I was in a room with the elders from the states watching conference in english and the spirit was SOOO strong. I havent felt that spirit in a long time. The talks just blew my mind. I took a bunch of notes. (And then forgot them in the church in Neuquen but i will get them back). my compaion was with a priest from our ward and i dont know what he was doing or who he was with. probably flirting with girls. ha jk. i hope not.
The rash, better. Mosquitos, still here. Dads videos....AWESOME!!! I about died when i saw grandpa manwaring dancing. Flat stanly....need to take the pictures still. The thing is, Senillosa isnt touristy at all. Its all feilds. And i felt like the picture needed something cool in it. i am working on it. Piano lessons....the bishop is out of town so idk when i can start. but i have been practicing.
what else is new? Well we got transfers this week. My companion is still with me. Elder Thoelke goes home (as well as my trainer), Elder Draut leaving and in come two latins to our district. Everyone thought i was going to traine this transfer. I talked to my trainer last night. It was super sweet. I am going to miss that guy. Tomorrow he is going to be with his family in the states. Wow. Thats crazy.
whats the latest on ol nate dawg? Is he official with his girl? mom, listen, he HAS to send pictures of them to me. Its not an option to not send pictures. I am dying out here. Bro has a girlfriend and no pictures? un heard of! Tell dad thanks for the pictures that he sent. those helped alot. So yeah. Thats whats going down here. Living the "dream". ha love ya guys!
